Wael is an accomplished leader with deep expertise in serving multinationals and financial institutions. Over more than 20 years, he has advised and educated clients on trade statistics, commodity analytics, supply chain sourcing, compliance, and risk intelligence products and services.
Throughout his career, he has led teams of directors, senior account executives, and business development professionals selling maritime, trade, and global trade management solutions across diverse market segments.
As a senior executive at PIERS/JOC, Wael pioneered the marketing of bill of lading data. He oversaw global teams across product development, customer service, marketing, data science, and business development, and played a key role in several mergers and acquisitions.
Wael is based in New York and speaks Arabic and French. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology.
