Jade Wolanin

Jade Wolanin is Trade Data Monitor’s Managing Director in the Washington, DC office, where she oversees company strategy, operations, and performance. She supports corporations, 10+ government agencies, 100+ trade associations, international organizations like the WTO and IMF, hedge funds, and private sector clients across the Americas and APAC regions.
Her role spans from market research to international trade data analysis and translating complex global trade information into actionable insights. Jade manages and develops client relationships, leads marketing initiatives, supports sales efforts, drafts and reviews contracts, and regularly advises clients on trade methodologies, data interpretation, and platform use cases. She also works hands-on to enhance TDM’s web portal capabilities, ensuring the platform evolves alongside client and market demands.
Jade has trained more than 90 overseas posts at the US Department of Agriculture and Department of State, along with numerous other organizations, on the use of the TDM platform, trade methodologies, and strategies for improving global trade policy management. Her experience spans a wide range of commodity-focused industries and diverse client types worldwide.
Jade is an active participant in the Washington, DC trade community and consistently sponsors and attends events held by the Washington International Trade Association (WITA). She also volunteers as the co-chair of the Agriculture, Energy & Environment program committee of the Women in International Trade’s DC chapter.
Jade has numerous certifications, including certificates in International Merchandise Trade Statistics and International Trade in Services granted by the World Trade Organization and United Nations. She’s completed Columbia Business School’s Emerging Leader Development Program. Jade started her career with TDM as an international trade intern while attending the Zane Showker College of Business at James Madison University. She has a working knowledge of Spanish and attended the University of Salamanca during the summer of 2018. She received her bachelor’s degree in International Business with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Business Spanish in May 2019.
